The next time your family member dies. i want you to tell the survivor of that person. Let me know how that goes.
I cant believe this is a military site and some of you guys will ALLOW the disrespect by the POTUS to a widow of a fallen SM who has given his life.
Im disgusted by POTUS comments and you should be to.

The President is NEVER the one to break the news. It doesn't matter who the President is.

We should all strive to practice pragmatism when commenting on topics we feel passionately about. I have absolutely no clue who the guy in the above video is, but hes a prime example of how not to practice pragmatism. In a situation such as this, whichever involved party you support (President Trump or Congresswoman Wilson) will be seen as having done no wrongdoings from your viewpoint. However, mistakes were made on both sides. As the POTUS, the media will play semantics with your every statement, therefore it's important to stay on script (from a speechwriter). As a duly elected respresentative, to publicize this private call was probably a misstep by the Congresswoman. I do, however, commend the attempt to reach out to the widow and offer condolences. I also commend the Congresswoman for being prrlesent with her constituent during the time of crisis as no one knew when that call was to be made. Pragmatism. Take a step back, look at all angles, take a deep breath. Comment.
