Currently on active duty thinking about switching to Army National Guard/ Reserves. How would retirement work for someone with 11 years active duty TIS, if I switch?

Your 11 years of active duty translate into 365 points for each good year. You must have twenty (20) good years for the Reserve / National Guard retirement. If you come off active duty and wish to have a reserve / NG retirement, the Reserve component requires six years in this component.
