Expect to stay up for the first 48 hours after you arrive. This is so that recruits being received at the command can all be placed on the same sleep schedule despite reporting from various time zones. After your initial night of uniform issue and such, you will be taken to your compartment. You will spend up to one week in a temporary compartment before being moved to another ship (building). In the first few days, you will learn the bare basics of being a sailor: cleaning, studying, and standing watch. Your head will be shaved and you will stand in line for chow three times a day.

This video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19Fo6rS1rDg) is a bit old but sums up your first night at Recruit Training Command.

Welcome to RallyPoint. Please do not use acronyms or shorthand when asking a question. I will hazard a guess that you mean Recruit Training Center and Paydays?
