I hate the dreadmill. I do utilize it for progressive/speed workouts in the winter however- but I run outside rain, snow, cold, heat. I have a problem being cramped in an office all day and then limiting my workout to a 3 x 5 treadmill. Will keep pushing these over the winter months to keep you motivated.

I pull up Google Maps on my treadmill, map out a course or use one of theirs, and then on the TV I'll pull up one of the sports channels or one of the music stations. The treadmill's incline will rise and fall as it follows the route on Google Maps. I just keep my feet moving and not focus so much on the distance.

Thanks for sharing Maj Marty Hogan. When I read bearable for some reason it reminded me of the bears in the Charmin commercial.

Would be nice if I could run on a treadmill, too much metal in my feet to allow it to happen.
