As a DCA and CHENG on that class of ship, all I can say is wow... brave sailors doing the jobs they were trained to do in conditions they never thought that they would ever been in... I will say that the DC training changed after COLE, and it sounds like they really needed it here (going all the way back to message blanks).

I read the report tonight as well. Wow. I hope that those that were commended anonymously in the report are commended in real life. There were some selfless acts in here. Again, damage control proves to be a key factor in vessel casualties, like the Samuel B. Roberts.
