In 50+ years of diving all over the world, this is cyclic. It's happened in other places in the past only to see the affected reefs recover in short order. One MUST be careful not to PANIC over a report from an organization with an agenda. Not that it is not happening, only that time will tell whether this particular phenomenon is permanent or really getting worse. The world is an amazingly resilient place. AND, it really is getting cleaner than it was in the 60's.
