I am seeking a career in cyber security, like protecting computers from cyber attacks or conducting networking sweeps. What Army mos can help me with that?

SPC (Join to see), I'm not 100% about army MOS' but I know that the Air Force recently changed a few of their AFS' (MOS) strictly for cyber type things. It maybe a possibility if you really want to persue that route you could cross into the Blue. I can ask some of my army brothers if they have more detailed info and try to link you up with them or pass along the info. If you want more info on crossing into the blue just let me know.

Will the Air Force accept someone with a current medical condition?

It would probably depend on the condition and severity. I can ask one of my recruiter buddies.

It would depend on your plans, if you are trying to change MOSs asap then 17C wouldn't be a bad idea. However, 25D is for E6 and above and is a great choice too after you get your feet wet as a 25B. Just keep in mind 17 series is offensive whereas 25D is defensive.

SPC (Join to see) - It can but the biggest factors will be your duty station:responsibilities, and your willingness to put in the work outside of the office. Start studying everything you can about security. Read articles, learn Linux, and figure out what part of Cyber Security you want to delve into. If you want to master web apps then Study SQL injections, and scripting with Python. If you want to get into malware analysis and reverse engineering it then learn C, Assembly, and how fuzzers and debuggers work. If your looking into the mobile market then learn Java and Swift. Also, feel free to find me on LinkedIn as well I post articles there. As do a lot of security personnel. Always work to expand your knowledge. Finally don't hesitate to PM me on any social networking site if you need anything at all.

SPC (Join to see) - If they offer a degree in Cyber Security that would be even better.
