A mother of two could be put to death tonight in Georgia.. She had her lover kill her husband several years ago.

Absolutely not! Women want equality, so why should 'sex' matter in criminal sentencing? Although, I've yet to see a woman get similar punishment as a male when its 'teacher vs student' sex involved. The females always get off light and the men get hammered. Where's the equality in sentencing. Why should the man get 10 to 20 or more and the women get 1, 3, or 5. She's just as guilty, so sentence her like a man.

Completely agree. I am all for equality, however that means equality on all levels.

SSgt (Join to see) - Yep, equality... That doesn't mean changing things (playing/practice field, training/performance requirements) for them.
I have no problem with a professional female military member/firefighter/police woman/whatever picking me up (all 6'3", 265 lbs) and carrying me out of a burning building or dangerous location. I do not expect to be dragged, by my ankles, down a flight of stairs because of political correctness run amok. If they're able to compete - let them. If they can't cut it - cut them...

She was tried and convicted and the sentence should be carried out, her being a woman should have no bearing on it what so ever.

Nope... It should be based on the crime, not the sex of the person committing it...
