SGT John " Mac " McConnell - From the looks of this video, I want's no part of being one either lol. I know this one was a humorous one but the reality of being down in the mud for me not!

It happens outside the services as well...I'm sad to say :)
A couple of years before meeting my lovely bride, I was sailing a small, 12-footer on a local lake, and 'showing off' to the bass-boat crowd who had jeered me as I put in on what seemed like a "windless" day. While I was cutting across the stern of one of my hecklers (and imagining a full broadside tearing into his transom)...a couple gals in bikinis went by on jet skis and waved. Well...I needed a smoke, so I tacked towards shore where they were at, lit my Camel, and looking very "Dirk Pitt" in my Navy dive shorts, USNA sleeveless, and beard...made my approach.
I skillfully dropped the sail while never luffing...threw over my anchor, and with a wink to the nearest blonde, decided to hop over the side into the "2 feet" of water to drag my craft to ground. I ended up dropping about seven feet, and came up gasping like a choking duck.
The girls laughed till they cried...but I never let go of my Camel LOL
