Sad news to learn about today.
An airman stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington killed his wife and two small children before committing suicide, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department said Tuesday.
The sheriff’s department said that before killing himself at a house near Spanaway, just east of the base, the unidentified airman called 911 and said he had killed his wife, son and daughter. The children were toddlers under the age of 5, the department said on its Twitter account.
