I don't know of he's on RP, but up until about a year and a half ago, I worked with the guy who won this. He was an awesome shot, and apparently had gotten even better.

How big are the targets, and how scored? Is there e.g. a 10 foot diameter V-ring?

36 inch steel targets. Anywhere on target counts for points, but first shot hits worth more.
