In an interview on Fox News Sunday, former Vice President Dick Cheney supported the use of enhanced interrogation techniques during his time in office, stemming from recent backlash over President Trump’s choice to lead the CIA.
As an aside, if anyone cares, I would break bones, shoot knee caps, and pull fingernails if I thought it would save the life of even ONE American. And my father was a Christian minister for sixty-two years. This apple fell pretty far from that tree, I reckon!!!
And one more thing: I think Dick Cheney is one of the most intelligent, sensible, and politically astute men that Washington has seen in years. IMHO.

VP Cheney was a pretty wise man. He spent a lot more time in DC than folks realize. I don't agree with all of his views but certain things need to be done to elicit info from bad guys. Not everyone has the stomach for it, but as they say, making sausage is a messy business. If you ever seen it made you might never eat it again.

We should not be torturers. Our forefathers would be ashamed of us.

Enhanced interrogation techniques did not start overnight, nor did their use begin with our involvement in Southwest Asia. Their history involves most nations throughout every century of each nation's existence, including, and especially, ours.
