Hi All, this is my 12' peapod dubbed the "Lila Sarah". I have been building her on and off for the last year. I am going to outfit her with all hand made sail, blocks and line and solid wood mast, batten and spars. The hull is almost closed now and I plan on sealing it as soon as the weather gets cold.

PO3 Keith VanAllen That is REALLY cool! My dad and great uncle use to hand build sailboats waaay back when. A lot of work, but satisfying.

yeah road gators are no fun, this past weekend while on the Ortega Highway (rt 74) oncoming traffic (small street racer) decided it would be fun to take the corner on my side of the road. I am happy to state that you can effectively counter steer on an inside corner at 45 MPH while simultaneously providing a 1 finger salute.
