What’s the process of switching from guard to active once contract is up?

I’m about to enlist in the national guard and get my degree whIle I’m in . Then go active once my contract is done . Is it impossible ?

It's very possible. Just make sure you talk out the possibilities with your recruiter first. And once you get to whichever N.G. unit you go to, the readiness NCO.

PVT (Join to see) It is possible. If you have time left on your ARNG contract you work with a recruiter for a conditional release from the RC to ACtive Duty.
