Offer suggestions, but do not make demands. I took the vaccine, not because anyone demanded I take the vaccine, but because I made a personal decision.

SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth - I read your comment. You spoke the sad truth. I never thought the time would come that we could not express our suggestions and opinions openly without personal risk. An example I will share. Several years ago I had an issue with an eye that required a retina peel. A 2-hour procedure. The surgeon has a well deserved reputation of excellent skill.

I noted his heavy accent. I asked his country of origin. He said Venezuela. I probed more and asked why he left Venezuela and came to America?

Many can remember , Venezuela had one of the poorest economies in Latin America, but by 1970 it had become the richest country in the region and one of the twenty richest countries in the world, ahead of countries such as Greece, Israel, and Spain. Between 1978 and 2001, however, Venezuela’s economy went sharply in reverse, with non-oil GDP declining by almost 19 percent and oil GDP by an astonishing 65 percent.

His answer was simple. He could see the direction of his Country, which he loved, taking a direction that would erase the freedoms that made his Country great. His choice was going to be limited as to his career to be a skillful surgeon that he is today. So he came to America, a benefit that I appreciated.

He added, and this was years ago, he could see our Country taking the same direction he left behind.

We all need to focus on the way it is today, adjust and go forward.

Maybe we should require the NIH to not cause pandemics before they get any funding.

That would be a great idea, only it would go against science. Didn't you heard last week Fauci declared himself to be "science".

Fauci is responsible for the funding the NIH gives. Thus they are the ones responsible for the research funded by the NIH. They are the ones that set the terms of the funding (or craft the terms). NIH funded Ecohealth and the EcoHealth funded Wuhan - in what looks like a prime example of using a cutout to hide the true nature of the research.

Emails show how NIH officials allowed EcoHealth Alliance to craft oversight language governing its own gain of function research. More or less NIH change definitions and meanings of words in order for the research to align with their policies.

As such caught red handed Fauci has had to back peddle and admitted in a letter that the NIH had funded gain of function research. NIH is now saying they just received progress reports - two years overdue - yet EcoHealth is saying data was reported to NIH in April 2018. As well Fauci is claiming there's no way the virus used in EcoHealth's research could have caused the pandemic. While true - despite the sizable genetic differences between the virus - no one will ever know if any knowledge gained in the research was used by the lab in other research.

NIH has not been forthcoming with accurate information and the NIH failed to properly monitor research that they funded - yet we are expected to trust Mr. Science, the NIH, EcoHealth and the Wuhan lab.

For all of those jumping on the "trust the science" bandwagon - 77 U.S. Nobel laureates and 31 scientific societies wrote to NIH leadership in protest and demanded the agency review the decision in which NIH canceled funding for EcoHealth in 2020. None of the ass hats knew what was really going on yet all wanted to blindly trust and fund EcoHealth's research.

The lesson to be learned science doesn't know right from wrong thus when you get people who do not know right from wrong running things - inadequate oversight, disregard for risk, and insensitivity to the importance of transparency - science goes wrong.

Not to sound like an alarmist but we could of all died - trusting science - on this.
