I have a vacation scheduled the week prior- I have been gone so much this past year and my wife asked if we could go.... I have another SPP mission later in August too- if we go it would be a ride and dash- up and back over the weekend.

SFC Melvin Brandenburg - The Full Throttle or Buffalo Chip is where most of the people watching is now from what I understand. Down town is still a great place though.

I live in the Black Hills (well, near). I would advise anyone without reservations during Rally to check first. There are not many motel rooms or RV sites available then. But, the Hills are always nice for a ride anytime.

Last time we stayed at Barre Butt State Park pardon the spilling. We were lucky the car before us was turned around because there was no room then a car was leaving so we got to take their place. Had a great time both times.
