What if the number and the severity of hurricanes hitting the US was LOWER than average for the past 50 years? Would that mean that "climate change" is REDUCING hurricanes? Check this chart out...see averages at bottom and compare the last 50 years against the average.

Trying to tie hurricanes to man made climate change is a big stretch.
The 3 of the 5 worst hurricanes in US history occurred 100-150 years ago
Of the 2 most recent, 1 was 15 years ago.
The year with the most Atlantic US hurricanes was 1886

The only reason many of the more recent hurricanes are showing such high cost damage is due to more people in areas and increased costs.
