Just think of the kind of fun that could have been had if the truck had stalled on the freeway...free beer! On the other hand, here's technology again replacing humans; if the truck can drive itself (and right now it can't, but soon), why is there a need for a human payload, aka a driver?

I wonder how long it takes before the OTTO trucks become victim of being hijacked/disabled and their cargo stolen.

I don't think this technology is ready for the real world yet. I would like to see how a driverless car would handle D.C. Traffic
