Are we allowed to wear a suit with the U.S. flag pin in civilian clothes?

I'm not interested in doing this myself. I'm curious if it is legal for a service member to do this, as we often see office officials do this.

Anyone can wear a suit with or without an American flag on it. What is the root question you are trying to answer? Are you under the belief that wearing an American Flag pin is against the UCMJ?

A servicemember in Civilian clothing wearing an American Flag pin is not illegal per the UCMJ or the Flag Code to my recollection.
