Have you ever read a book by Jared Diamond called 'Collapse'. It is an in-depth look at why past societies, countries, governments and etc have fallen throughout the history of time. So my question to you is this; If and when it happens how will America fall? Do you think it will be from our own actions? Or do you think it will be from outside forces? Thanks for commenting.

I think America will eventually just merge with the rest of the world, and when it does, it will happen with little more than a whimper. The Unification of the European nation states is the model. They started with "Economic" treaties, then with "Open" borders, then with common "regulatory" commissions. All in an effort to make commerce and travel easier however, at each stage the member nations have relinquished a little more of their individual sovereignty. At the same time their has been a big push from the world press, the education community (K thru 16+), the international corporations and banks to reduce national patriotism and develop a sense among young people that they are "Citizens of the World". The same thing is happening in America, it started with NAFTA, now we have the Trans-Pacific Partnership and soon we will be hearing about the Trans-Atlantic partnership. Each agreement limits the power of our congress and president to govern as the Constitution allows. For good or bad, a hundred years from now, people will have no more attachment to their Country of Birth than we currently have to our State of Birth.
