The pocket battleships President Trump Supports is back.
This Iowa Class Battleship was awesome when we saw it in 2018.
Koren and I also went to see the USS North Carolina in 2006 while I was at Fort Bragg, North Carolina completing my new Civil Affairs (Military Government) School.

I'm torn. On one hand they are great deliverers of grid square clearing destruction. On the other, they are torpedo and bomb magnets.

I have to believe that if we're even considering large surface combatants, we have a solid countermeasure for the DF-21D.
What I'm not fully understanding is the term "battleship." When they first started reporting on this, I thought the ignoramuses in the media meant "warship." But, no, they do in fact mean battleship.
Once upon a time, the difference between battleships, cruisers, destroyers, and on down was displacement. Not anymore. Now I'm given to understand that it's based on the count of the types of warfare the vessel is capable of. But then we haven't really been building cruisers lately, and every surface combatant we build is now a destroyer? And they operate in all domains, more or less?

That is why I chose USN personnel on my buddy list! I was also on the USS Texas in 2018.
