Fantastic news. As some of you know, I volunteer time with Stand Against Trafficking, a local group working to educate and raise awareness of human trafficking in all its forms, but especially sex trafficking.

I just got an email saying the $15,000 grant we recently applied for has been awarded by the Cook Family Foundation out of Michigan. This will allow us to continue with our work of providing, for free, materials that are smart, appropriate, and easy to implement into local school districts and youth treatment facilities, and to expand awareness training for prosecutors, law enforcement officers, and healthcare workers.

Made my week, and gave me something special to be thankful for on Thanksgiving!
