I was saddened to learn of yet another blue on green attack in Afghanistan. Thankfully the Afghan national army attacker was killed and so far none of the at least seven soldiers has died after being wounded.
I pray for a full recovery for each soldier who was wounded in this attack.

An Afghan soldier wounded at least seven U.S. soldiers Saturday in an insider attack at Camp Shaheen in Mazar-e Sharif. Abdul Qahar Araam, a spokesman for the 209th Army Corps, said U.S. soldiers returned fire and killed the attacker. Gen. Dawlat Waziri, a spokesman for the Afghan Defense Ministry, also confirmed the incident. It was the second such insider attack by an Afghan soldier in the past week. Resolute Support, the NATO-led mission in Afghanistan, tweeted that it was “aware of the incident” and could “confirm there are no U.S. or NATO Resolute Support fatalities.” The statement added that one Afghan soldier was killed and another was wounded and that the incident is currently under investigation. In a statement sent to media, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid praised the attack but did not claim Taliban responsibility. Last week, an Afghan soldier killed three U.S. soldiers in eastern Nangarhar province. The Taliban claimed responsibility for that incident, saying the attacker had infiltrated the Afghan army “just to attack foreign forces.”

It's getting to the point where we're not collocating with the afghans anymore and more importantly, not using the commandos during clearing ops.

Unless we go full out war on the ACM /ISIS the bastards will keep on doing this crap. We have to do what the Crusaders did and not mess around. When the ACM/ISIS realizes that we are not going to play around and not play nice nice they would make peace and or leave us be.
