Ms. Rosenberg seems to have WAY too much time on her hands. The detainees held at the US military detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, give all unlawful combatant Islamists who want to kill us FREE Qurans, prayer rugs/beads, directions to Mecca, halal and special Muslim holy day meals, services of US military Muslim chaplains, white robes, beards, world class health care, including vision and dental; TV, DVD's, MANY books, video games, recreation and sports. In return, our US military guards are harassed, spat upon, "splashed" with detainee's bodily fluids, threatened and sucker punched. And all Carol has to write is about are books deemed inappropriate for our guests. Really? The Islamist equivalent of Gitmo is a PILE OF HEADS. There is no moral equivalent to how our enemies treat their captives and Gitmo. 731 detainees have been RELEASED and NONE has been executed, beheaded, blown up, hacked to death, dragged naked and lifeless through the streets, drowned or burned alive. All things our enemies have done to us and/or our allies. Gitmo is a small but essential piece to the big puzzle of how we win the Global War on Terror. Ms. Rosenberg, you are not helping. Sincerely, Montgomery J. Granger, MAJ (RET), US Army; former ranking US Army Medical officer with the Joint Detainee Operations Group, Joint Task Force 160, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; author: "Saving Grace at Guantanamo Bay: A Memoir of a Citizen Warrior."

But, the left says we are the bad people and Gitmo must be closed. Last President wanted to close Gitmo. It was not nice to the killers.

Maybe she would like to join the scum that is locked up down there, and get a first hand experience from them.
