There is an ad on you tube for a “Lazer welder” for $50. The ad is a fraud it is actually a real cheap soldering Iron. The ad did peak my interest in Lazer welding and this you tube video was interesting. The cost for this welder is slated to be $5,000.00. The safety factors seem out of the box. I was thinking you would need a welding booth to control reflected beams, triggering mistakes etc. for fabrication and cnc cutting it would be impressive. I don’t know If it would be good for the DYI guy.
