For every $1,000 in added benefits to a family, there was an average reduction in $660 of wages from work." So people who got checks stopped working or worked far less. What a surprise. That's the socialist dynamic: Pay people to do nothing, and they'll do nothing. This doesn't require a Ph.D. in economics. It's simple common sense."

Col Joseph Lenertz I am all for it. Cloward Piven comes back to Chicago. I hope the Left maxes this program out and makes it mandatory for all Blue States and even Sanctuary Cities.

Why do socialists always believe their brand of socialism hasn't ever been tried yet. Haven't they figured out that single party rule always devolves into heavy-handed totalitarianism.
