Pretty awesome article, thanks for sharing. I am a Christian and I also believe being engaged in a good cause is what God want's us to be. I love this quote from the article, by his grandson Col Gerald York:
"My dad told him, 'You did what you did out of service to your country and your fellow soldiers. You didn't do it out of malice or hate. You did it to save lives, to stop the carnage of your own men.'"
I believe the Great Creator understands our hearts and our motives, and the actions of Sgt. Alvin York to defend his men and his unit were acceptable before God.
