Thanks for sharing Maj Marty Hogan events of February 9.
I suppose the 1942: WWII - The SS Normandie, a former French liner being refitted for the U.S. Navy at a New York pier catches fire. It capsizes early next morning. was the most significant for me.
The Beatles appearing on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964 reminded me that I watched that show at age 7.

Was the year before I came to be LTC Stephen F. I don't think we see history like that on TV so much anymore.
