Kinda. Sometimes it’s on global reaction force (grf) which is rapid deployment, but the cab has deployed five times in the last 12 years.

Not really off base Wheeler Sack Airfield is not part of the main base and they have their own barracks on the airfield as well as DFAC and I believe a Store now too but it is across the street from what is called old post and is surrounded by the base training area SPC (Join to see)

It’s across a two lane highway from main post.

SPC (Join to see) technically no. There is a road, a bridge if you prefer, that connects the main post to the airfield directly. There is a small px on the airfield and there are 2 gyms. I live in the airfield in the barracks so I can tell you that.
Hopefully it helps!

Last time I heard- 10th Mtn was assigned to XVIII ABC, so it would be part of the rapid deployment system.

We just got back from Afghanistan so I couldn’t count on the CAB deploying again anytime soon but as you may know it is the army and stuff can happen in a flash.
But from my 3 years here I’ve only deployed once and the deployment before this most recent one was I think in 2016 or 2017 ish
