Are any of you involved with serious clinical research in any medical lyre later area, regardless of subject and/or level?

I have very serious clinical research interests in sevl areas, e.g., neuroscience, biomathematics, mathematical biophysics, wound healing. Bioengineering, genomics, etc. I know such things would fall under sevl topics, I'd just never asked wherpther anyone here has research interests, I'd be eager for discussion. I'm total perm disabled, though imsptry to stay as current as possible, many thanks.

I have always liked physics. I picked up Hawking's book "A Brief History of the Universe" last year and finished it the first day.

I appreciate that, I was very heavily trained before my disability in elec engrg (EE), physics, and math, I very nearly had my doctorate in math, before I went doctoral level allied health instead, not medicine, my ttpotal perm disability always got in the way, I'm afraid, if you'd ever care to chat, I'd gladly do so, I'd submitted the question out of trying to see who had an interest as I'd said in clinical research, however, as I said, I completely understand, if you'd ever care to chat in future, by all means, many thanks....

I'm assisting with a study now. We're trying to identify modifiable biomechanical factors that are tied to running related injuries. We're also investigating the reliability of 2D running analysis vs 3D running analysis. If the 2D system (our system is still pretty pricey) is reasonably reliable future research will investigate whether less expensive 2D systems are also reliable. The aim is to find an inexpensive, easy to use system than can be used in the clinic. I picked the project before grad school started when I thought I would be working in Sports medicine after graduation, but now I think that I'm more interested in chronic pain research.

That seriously interests me, I'd be most eager to hear more, if you'd wanna chat through the email on here, we could.do that also...can you elaborate on it more? Have you gotten any preprint or .posters on it out this far? What grad major? Also, look up.the Calmare pain scrambler hardware used by anesthesiologists for pain mgmt, also called.Calmarett, you'd find it of interest, it resembles TENS sulerficially, however, is most definitely NOT a TENs devjce, it's based on the concept of what's termed a nociceptive no-pain signal, that I've suspected might be Walsh function nonsinusoidal waveform based, though I've never been able to find out, it's related to an approach involving local.anesthetic injections for sciatica without steroid, also related to material.sent in here by myself and others on stellar ganglion block (SGB) developed in the US by Eugene Lipov MD in Chicago for PTSD, I chatted about the method with an assistant in his ofc once....
