I know the 92A in 92A2P is my mos but the 2P is throwing me off. I've seen 92A10,92A20,92A30,etc but not that. As for the YY I've been looking up airborne units on FMSWEB at bragg but I don't see any with YY. Anyone have any insight?

92= your mos
2= you are an E-5
P= you are a qualified parachutist

Hope this helps. Happy jumping

YY is the language code for the requisition, which means none. It has nothing to do with a UIC

The P indicates an Airborne position. The SQI was around in 1978 when I joined but if I had to guess they used P for parachute.

In 75, they did use 2P identifying my MOS as sergeant E-5, 11B2P
