Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman. Why don't we hear more about this position?

Admiral Mullen decided night to fill this position during his tour of duty.  Was that a slap in the face to NCOs?  Or was it as he said it, "not a position he saw as a need?"

"Not a position of need" .... I think that's a reflection of our profession of arms of late.
