Hey all, I asked this question before, but I was not clear enough with the details, my apologies. I’ve served in the national guard for 10 years (2011 - 2021) and in my last year did 8 months of Title 32 orders (Covid mission). I recently ETS’d two weeks ago. So my question is, is it a waiting game to receive my NGB-22 (for ten years in the guard) and a DD-214 (Title 32 orders for 8 months) or are their steps I must take?

If you think it's a waiting game, you'll be waiting a long time.
You'll need to contact the NY ARNG G1 for both.

Your DD-214 should have completed at the end of your COVID orders.
Odds are there is still a DD 214 worksheet that was waiting for your signature.
No one generates an NGB 22 for you until you request one.

Your state should have had these prepared for you. If they didn't they are most likely completing both of them and saying that you're not able to sign. This happened to me on a 214 I had in the National Guard. Eventually they mailed it to me. You should be able to contact someone in your States s1 office and get a copy of the documents.

No this is apart of the process for your ETS for your DD214 but your NGB-22 you will have to request.
