Do I need to serve one year on station before I am allowed to volunteer for recruiting? If so, is there any other way to go on recruiting before that year?

You need three years on station, but it can be waived down to one year when the Army really needs it.

I had less than one year on station when I got selected to be a recruiter, then again it’s a good idea to email the RTR team and ask if that’s still a possibility.
