"Searching for Home: Coming Back From War" (a film by Eric Christenson) which features several veterans from the Wichita area and was several years in the making highlights the issues of making the transition from civilian to warrior back to civilian and PTSD from both the veteran and families point of view. It was filmed over a period of 7 years and includes men and women from WWII to present. One hundred % of ticket sale proceeds go to a new program aimed at getting veterans who are homeless off the streets.

I saw it last night and there was a panel discussion following featuring some of the participants. It hasn't been formally released yet, but please watch for it and support it when it comes to your area. More Info can be found on Facebook.
