One of my first computer indoctrination courses was at the Navy Shipyard in Washington, DC. Guess who the primary speaker was? None other than (at that time, Captain) Grace Hopper. Never haD a speaker that everyone was totally transfixed on. She always carried a bundle of wires and passed them out to indicate why there were limits on sizes of components and speed. Smoked non-stop, but no one cared in those days. ONE OF THE BEST!
