Sad day. I believe her husband was the highest ranking officer as a POW in Vietnam. He also won the MOH.

1stSgt (Join to see) Thanks for sharing this. I knew that the Admiral had been a POW. I had no idea that his wife was not only an integral part of getting him back, but also such a voice for the fair treatment of the prisoners. I don't think it is sad that she passed. She was 90 years old. She was suffering from a horrible disease. Now she is free, and now she can be with her husband. She made a difference. She took a stand on behalf of those who could not speak for themselves. What an amazing woman. Rest in peace madam.
