I find that most of the LTs that I know are being scheduled for BOLC (was OBC when I was a LT) later and later after they commission. How long did you have to wait until you went to your OBC/BOLC?

I attended BOLC 9 days after I commissioned, but that was in 2008. I guess I got lucky after reading the rest of the comments here.

18 months. Due to some sophomore shenanigans, my commissioning and graduation dates became "academically misaligned" So I got commissioned in May 89 and graduated in May 90 with an OBC report date in October

3 months. I had to pass my nursing boards before I could go.

I’m a nursing major sir. It’s good to know that I have to pass the NCLEX before I can go to BOLC.
