I am looking at getting a service dog for my PTSD, has anyone had any real success and how long did it take to get a service dog. Looking for one in Colorado.

MAJ (Join to see), Freedom Service Dogs is based in Englewood and they're a great organization you should consider: https://freedomservicedogs.org.

What helps me is the fact that I have 2 dogs and 4 cats all help me with PTSD. The main dog was from a rescue shelter and she is great. I have a cat that claimed me and she spends most of the day on my lap which helps as well. As someone said go to the shelter and get one that you train to your needs rather then having someone train it for a "blank" person. "blank is not any foul speech you could say the dogs are ""carbon copy"
