Any thoughts or interesting experiences would be helpful. I'm just trying to decide if it would be worth it to remove my blue chord.

Honestly a COMBAT ENGINEER is the best MOS in the engineer core because we can do the engineer jobs but they cant do ours so you will work with 12N and the other 12 series you will learn a lot and need to stay current and like most people said every MOS has its ups amd downs but this MOS gets paid to blow shit up

I don't ouldnt ask for any other job. If I started all over, I'd pick 12B in heartbeat. I almost joined as a 13F

If you like to blow shit up then you'll enjoy it. Most of the guys in my platoon came over from being 11bs and they're enjoying the new POG life

I'm not even trying to mos bash or anything. Either way I'm in the guard and it's just a part time gig anyway. But 12b is one of those jobs I've always had interest in but I'm worried it won't be as cool as people tell me it is.

You will love being a 12B I worked on different teams some were special ops, rangers, and others I can't mention, offered several times for special schools for those MOS's including OCS but I turned then all down to keep doing 12B SAPPER work.
