Are the Service Chiefs off base with their budget plans?

It seems as if the service chiefs are trying to balance the budget on the backs of service members. Is this budgetary smoke and mirrors or is there a genuine strategic need to cut pay and benefit hikes? What programs would you like to see cut instead?

Dont Envy their Job. Who do you say "Sorry" to. Us that wear the Uniform or the Military Industrial Complex, The Contractors that make the weapons systems. Hell of a juggling bit. Personally I would tell KBR to go to hell and have the Seabees do all the Construction but that is just me.

Agreed. I've questioned for a long time why we had contractors and civilians doing the jobs that Soldiers and Sailors used to do.
