Let's have a look at the evidence: and see why these bastards do (have a little humor here)
- No Christmas- No television - No nude women- No football - No pork chops- No hot dogs - No burgers - No beer - No bacon - Rags for clothes - Towels for hats - Constant wailing from some idiot in a freaking tower - More than one wife which means more than one mother in law - You can't shave - Your wife can't shave - You can't wash off the smell of donkey
- You cook over burning camel shit - Your wife is picked by someone else for you
- and your wife smells worse than your donkey
Then they tell you that "when you die, it all gets better"??
Well no Shit, Sherlock!....
It's not like it could get much freaking worse! I mean WTF-over!

Going to correct you, Any idiot that has been fooled by a religious leader is willing to commit suicide, recall Jim Jones, or how about our own so call Christian fanatics. Best to see why idiots follow religious idiots.

""We would have had something like 9/11 anyways. I think that bin Laden had his course pretty well set... But when you fight a war, you do what you think you need to do at the time. What seems right at the time is what you do," Wilson says."

Agree we were completely naïve in our blind ambition to defeat the Soviets. We thought the enemy of our enemy was our friend. Turns out the enemy of our enemy was still our enemy

MCPO Roger Collins - Being honest since I was involved we could have done more, some of us knew that this would happen and just got tired of hearing the higher ups to stand down back in the 80's and 90's.

PO1 Kerry French - Those of us that were instructors were not naive, we just were tired of being told to stand down by our bosses back in the 80's and 90's.

Desperately Poor, unemployed, unable to support their families. If they agree to be a suicide bomber their families receive money and they get a ticket to heaven. A better question might be, why aren't more doing it?

Now is a good time to admit the part we played, Charlie Wilson's War book is does a good job talking about it.

This is part of the equation, to be sure SSG (Join to see). In my experience, I found more that had been coerced or threatened into suicide bombings than volunteers. This was particularly acute in Iraq.

1SG (Join to see) - Good point. I know they are still referred to as suicide bombers, however I wasn't thinking of them since in my eyes their almost as much a victim as the people they hurt and kill.
