So who watched it? What are your thoughts on what he had to say? Do you think is he a patriot or a traitor?

I watched the interview in its entirety. I came away convinced that Snowden believes what he did was necessary. And, as SGT Baptiste pointed out, the fact that all three branches of government are working on reforming and reigning in the intelligence community since the incident tells me that perhaps his argument has SOME merit. Hell, he may be perfectly correct on every allegation and this information DID need to get out!

I can't, however, get past one simple fact: HE OFFERED TO AID ANOTHER NATION IN COUNTER INTELLIGENCE EFFORTS AGAINST THE UNITED STATES IN EXCHANGE FOR PERMANENT ASYLUM. This is the point at which he gives up all pretense to claims of whistleblower status. He has now become a traitor to this country.

Well put CPT! I also think he seemed too "prepared" and I don't think Brian Williams got real answers to his questions. But then again he has to be PC where some of us would asked the questions with a little less detente:

Wipe that Sh!t eating grin off your face you commie CS and tell us why the f--k did you do what you did you MF traitor!!

So much for PC on my part.

Why wouldn't he be "prepared"? I suspect the interview wasn't a surprise..

He truly believes himself to be a patriot... that was enough for me, couldn't watch too much more after that. He is, in my opinion, delusional.

Not sure what supporting information could change my opinion.
