I have been scrubbing my "I love me book" for about a week now.
I have a lot more stuff in it now than i did about a year ago, and was just curious what everyone else's looks like.

Give me some pointers!

I have mine set up different than most. I used my ERB to set mine up. What I mean is that I used each individual section from the ERB. It helps keep it organized (in my mind at least) so that I can look at one section at a time, and compare it to the documents that I have to back it up. Section one of my book contains documents for section one of the ERB and so on and so forth.

Of course you will always have additional stuff that is not on the ERB that you want to keep and I keep that in the back of mine sorted chronologically by dates.

SFC (P) Gilley and SFC Owens are on the right track. One thing I would add is to "go digital" adding everything to a personal email that can accessed quickly. Sometimes your "official" file on a CAC enabled computer is down or website out for maintenance.

Mine is set up the same way. I also scanned everything to my hard drive and organized a virtual "I love me book" by sorting everything into folders based on what it is and the an abbreviation and date.

Probably smart to have a virtual version...I have a 1059 gone forever because no one told me about I love me books or doing virtual backups until I was a NCO. I had such faith in the Army as a PFC and SPC it never occurred to me the Army could lose anything!

Since retirement, mine has been set up high on a shelf! LOL!
Prior to that, I always kept it chronologically.

Mine is in my Iraq box with about an inch of dust on it. It's hard to share memories with anyone when all there are is civilians around here. I got on this site just so I could hear the familiar chatter.
