What affect (good or bad) do you believe you will have by not having a complete profile and photo on RallyPoint?

It really depends on what you use Rally Point for, since I'm not looking for a Job or trying to develop contacts not having a complete profile has not had any negative affect on me. I find RP topics and comments entertaining, another way for me to keep up with military discussions and items of interest.

RallyPoint encourages everyone to complete their profile as much as they can. It allows other members to learn about you and to hopefully better understand where you are coming from in the forums.
Employers that use this as a way to reach possible candidates for a job, can also see your background to help better understand both your hard and soft skills.

Ben you are absolutely correct for me as a fortune 500 recruiter I look for individuals who have taken the time to complete their profile. I see people say the cookie cutter "attention to detail" and they leave out completing their profile. The profile and presence in the social media space is your personal brand.

I worry about the unverified members most of all, SSgt Rilene Ann. I've connected with a few, but I know these people outside RP.
