<p>There is a program called IMA (Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) / Drilling Individual
Mobilization Augmentee (DIMA) Program).&nbsp; Not sure if you would qualify or not.&nbsp; It is designed&nbsp;"facilitate the rapid expansion of the Active Army wartime structure of the
department of Defense and/or other departments or agencies of the U.S.
Government to meet military manpower requirements in the event of military
contingency, pre-mobilization, mobilization, sustainment, and / or
demobilization operations."</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Below is the email address to the Enlisted Team at HRC Fort Knox.&nbsp; If I were you, I would do some research into the program and present your findings to your PSG and 1SG.&nbsp; I am sure that they would defintiely be willing to assist you.&nbsp; Good luck.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p> [login to see] </p>

The Master Sargent is correct. You can also speak to your 1SG and CO and ask permission to ask around to volunteer for deployments Then keep your ear to the ground and informally ask deploying units if they need the technical assistance you can offer.

Also check the PFI website. You can apply outside your MOS as long as you can do the job.

I do believe you can call your branch or up to HRC to see if there are units accepting volunteers for deployments.

Remember, the DoD is ending the wars. Almost all combat operations have ended, deaths and injuries are drastically reduced so everyone wants to deploy and get that combat patch before they are gone. No one wants to be light on the right
