there is a link to an interview with LTCDR(ret) Montel Williams. In the interview LTCDR Williams makes a passionate declaration that this surge of immigrant children is a act of terrorism because it is focusing national attention away from other issues and forcing us to strain our resources to deal with the immediate crisis.

This humanitarian crisis is definitely both a distraction and a strain on resources but, IMHO, it falls short of an act of terrorism. What are your opinions on the issue?

Directly from the horse's A$$ -

Honduran President Juan Hernandez, in an interview published on Monday,

blamed U.S. drug policy for sparking violence and ramping up migration to the United States. His wife urged the United States to do more to help.

"The countries consuming drugs need to support (us) and take joint responsibility because if there wasn't demand, there wouldn't be production and we wouldn't be living like we are," Ana Garcia de Hernandez said as she awaited the children. (being deported from the US)

No it is not, it is a immigration issue that has long to be addressed.
