"Who All Knows About A Benefit That Will Give Vets An Extra $100 A Month Upon Retirement? I Just Heard About This Today. I Guess That If You Served Between 1951(?) And 1980 Something(?) Upon Retirement It Doesn't Matter If You Served 4 Years Or A Full 20, When You Apply For Ssi You Ask About This Benefit Bring Your DD 214 And It's An Extra $100 Per Month. If You Know More About It I Would Love To Know."

SN Craig Ralston, I think what you're referring to is the "Special Extra Earnings for Military Service".

It actually only really applies to those that had active service between 1957 and 1967. For periods of service from 1968 onward, the extra earnings were automatically applied to your SSI [the earnings were discontinued in 2002].
