Do you think that Expert Resume Solutions is a scam trying to bring RP members to another website to charge them for resume critiques?

SFC William Stephens A. Jr., 3 MSM, JSCM - I wouldn't pay people to help you update/improve your resume. There are many free services available that are worth checking out for this. Just my 2 cents.

I agree. Resumes are tailored based on the industry you're going to. For example, the defense industry wants a chronological resume and accepts/understands most military references/jargon, while Google will want "googliness". I'm not sure Expert Resume solutions will necessarily give you what is best for YOU. Seek out friends and network contacts to find people who have successfully transitioned to a job like the one you are seeking, then go to school on their resume. You can get lots of good support here on RP for free as well. I wouldn't pay.

In my experience, I found that no one is really an "expert" in resumes. Resumes are meant to fit the person like a pair of shoes. I have never paid for a critique on my resume and never will. I rather ask trusted friends in my industry for their thoughts and adjust from there.

What are the employment Best resources for Veterans & Service Members? | RallyPoint
Without a doubt, there are truly some great resources available to active and Reserve component personnel and veterans. Of course, if folks don't know that they're out there, members and their families couldn't possibly benefit from some of these amazing offers and services. So, the idea here is to share those helpful tidbits of information, tips, links, lessons learned, processes, resources, wisdom and/or POCs to help members find the...
