13Z SENIOR SERGEANT
• Intelligence Security Program Manager for a 40-member organization, accountable for planning and training programs. Conducted personnel and operational matters, recruitment classification, and training. Interpreted and provided guidance to ensure DOD assets and employees were protected.
• One of five contributing authors to the updated “Center for Army Lessons Learned Handbook (No. 06-22 June 2006 for Security Force Operations)”, one of the most requested publications in the Army.
• Hand selected by the 1st Army Commander as one of the five member team of a Combined Arms Assessment Team (CAAT) to collect secret and classified data in Iraq/Southwest Asia. Controlled and disseminated information to individuals with appropriate clearance level and need-to-know.

• Oversaw all phases of planning, implementing, and administering the unit’s training program.
• Supervised a training support team responsible for the training assistance and mobilization of 30,000 Reserve Component and National Guard units in support of the Global War on Terrorism.
• Selected as a Senior Army Instructor, Observer Controller and Trainer for units preparing to deploy to combat areas. Conducted executive level Antiterrorism training and foreign travel briefs for all personal.
Determined the appropriate type of investigation required to meet personnel security standards. Submitted investigations to the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), and monitored the progress of background investigations.

• Supervised Total Army Retention Program for a 500-member Field Artillery Battalion while engaged in systemic warfare operation and exceeded retention goal by 159% of personnel that were planning on departing the service while deployed to OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM I and II.
• Provided expert guidance and assistance to Battalion Commander regarding training and career program matters; assisted Soldiers in developing and attaining career goals and plans on how to achieve set goals.

DIRECT SUPPORT ARTILLERY OUTSIDE THE GREEN ZONE AND FROM KUWAIT ALL THE WAY THROUGH IRAQ/BAGHDAD FROM THE START OF OIF I THROUGH OIF II. WE BUILT OUR OPERATION BASE IN TAJI IRAQ AND WAS IN PLACE UNITL WE WERE RELIEVED IN PLEACE BY 3 ACR.

Operation Desert Spring (ODS)
Alpha Btry 4-1 FA in Direct Support to 3BCT 1 AD/Gunnery Sergeant was responsible for in depth-reconnaissance of route and platoon areas and selecting multiple howitzer locations for possible use. Was attach to 3rd ID and help train other Gunnery Sergeant in platoon and Battery operations reconnaissance. Also took time to work with Kuwaiti Artillery to see how they survive during desert operations.

4ID ARTILLERY WAS SENT TO KUWAIT WITH TF 1-12 INF TO TRAIN KUWAITI ARMY AND TO PROTECT IRAQI BOARDER WHILE DEPLOYED THERE IN SOUTHWEST ASIA.
